Marie Antoinette: Fashion in Film

Fashion and film individually can be considered an art. When fashion and film collide its ingenuity so to speak, making the two work together is complete mastery. And Marie Antoinette is a very good example of this. From colors of the pastries to the details in the Queen's shoes to the beautiful gardens-all inspirational. And just for kicks I want to suggest some books for all of you fashion lovers out there : Queen of Fashion: What Marie Antoinette Wore to the Revolution by CAROLINE WEBER, In Vogue: The Illustrated History of the World's Most Famous Fashion Magazine, Christian Dior by DIANA DE MARLY, and Audrey Style by PAMELA KEOGH CLARKE.

Marie Antoinette was SUCH eye candy! I loved it for that reason--pretty much that reason ONLY. (it was one boring-ass movie, otherwise). But the costumes and art direction were drool-worthy.
Awesome. Good book suggestions. I flipped through the Dior book at B&N.
Awesome.

I really don't like Kirsten Dunst as an actress, although she pulled this movie off quite well...

I absolutely love the clothes and everything...it really makes the movie a must-see...
